4 kinds of people

  1. I can tweak things and life will improve as a result of my tweaks.
  2. I can’t change but life will get good, somehow.
  3. I can change things but life has a ceiling, why bother?
  4. I’ll never change and things will get worse anyway, fuck.

I originally thought the majority of my youth was spent in #3-#4 until I started rejecting fate. The narrative implies a come up to #1. In retrospect, was I there the entire time? I’m starting to believe that 1-4 is predetermined by nature. It’s a little bit fucked up, like any good thought. Figuring out where you fit lies in your historical behavior at critical pressure points, do you tend to make the same mistakes? You can lie to yourself, if you want.
